There have been 187 recorded house sales during the last eight years in the period 2000-2008.

In this time, house prices have risen from an average sale value of £173,000 at the turn of the Millennium to an average value of £178,000 in 2007. If one discounts 2007 as being a year where lower-priced houses were more heavily featured on the market - it can be seen that average house price sales in 2006 peaked above £300,000.
