FRADE Furniture Recycling

F.R.A.D.E Furniture Recycling is a local charity that specialises in recyclying and re-use of items of furniture and appliances.

If you have any unwanted furniture, call us on 01642 608 791 and we will come to collect for free and at a time that is convenient for you.

Our services benefit poor and disadvantaged people - as well as hard working families on low wages. If necessary, we will refurbish a house with items of good furniture for free.

Services we Offer

We specialise in making furniture and household furniture available in our store at low prices. Because the furniture is in good condition and affordable, it benefits families and individuals that are struggling to make ends meet on low wages.

Please give generously to support our important charitable work.

What we will Collect

F.R.A.D.E will collect most items of household furniture and appliances as shown in the list below. Unfortunately, we cannot collect gas appliances, washing machines and dishwashers.

As a general rule, items should be in good condition and able to be re-sold.

Hard Furniture

  • Chairs
  • Beds
  • Tables
  • Desks

Dinner Sets

  • Glassware
  • China
  • Crockery
  • Plates
  • Cutlery

Soft Furnishings

  • Cushions
  • Drapes
  • Curtains
  • Sofas

Electrical

  • Mobile Phones
  • Computers
  • Televisions
  • Game Systems

Items that cannot be re-sold may still benefit our charity in other ways - for example, water cleaners could be used in our Bicycle Refurbishment operation.

Bicycle Repair

We have a bicycle refurbishment workshop and a team of people who work to restore older bikes to full working order. These bikes can then be sold in our shops or given to children who might not otherwise have the opportunity to learn to ride a bike.
